[glow=red,2,300]More Spoilers!![/glow]
We can't forget the revealing of Merrill's maker, the captivating and ever-so-twisted Patsy LaRue! As Southern a belle as you could imagine, and dangerous to know! A brilliant character who you could see easily browbeating her children into doing her bidding.
Merrill admits on a few different occasions that she and her Maker don't see eye to eye and that she wanted to get away, but couldn't. (I think that was in "The Summoning" when Merrill confronts the kill she mosts regrets, right?)
But what of the other's makers? Anyone care to speculate what they might have been like?
Essie reveals that her Uncle Dimitri made her a vampire. But what was he like? From royal blood, so proud and noble looking, perhaps. Most of the male Russian royal family was dark of hair and complexion, according to pictures from the time (both "Rachimova" and "Dimitri" are Russian in origin, so its not a far leap to the Russian royal line) so perhaps one of the lesser family members?
Karl was made so recently yet no information is given about who made him. Male or female? My money would be on female, but I can't quite put my finger on what gives me that impression. Any ideas, gang?
Drew's maker didn't seem to stick around - if they had, he might never have discovered his "knack" with painting. Or maybe, like Merrill, he's embarrassed by whomever it is and isn't ready to share information yet.
And my beloved Marty, of course. ;D;) I have the idea that the one who vamped him was male and posing as a homeless person. He nipped him when he wasn't expecting it then he was left to turn. His maker, at least, seemed attentive, though. A nick-of-time rescue for his Quivering shows some love by his maker, right? ;D
