Well I got to say Jeff is great in this mini series. He plays Frank Mahovlich number 27, this guy is really paranoid. thinking the rooms are bugged and stuff. Which gets the coach's to thinking that this Hockey games are getting to him.
Now I don't know too much about what happened in 1972, My Dad watched the game back then on TV. And What I can get from this movie is that The cold War went to the Ice in Hockey. What happens is Team Canada plays 8 Games against Russia. The first game Canada was really thingyy, then WHAM! Russia wins 2-7. Second game Canada got a little bit smarter and wins something like 2-1. Then game 3 Canada and Russia ties. Game 4 Canada looses again with the score 3-5. All the while most of Canada who attend the games Cheers for Russia which makes the Canadian Hockey Team Really disappointed.
As for this movie i found it Boring, The first part of it anyway. I found it hard to understand what was going on due to the fact that the shots were quick and parts were missing. So if your into the whole Hockey scene then this is a good movie for you.
On to the Jeff Roop part of it, he was in a few scenes, got a few lines. He does do a great job of acting though, as usual.
Well Tonight is the final Part and I'll have more to say then.
Okay Just finnished watching part 2 and i have to say Much better. It was all about the hockey games and the fights on the ice. The stupid Russian referies. And there were funny parts. Like when the canadian's in their hotal room thought the place was bugged and they searched and found this door on the floor, whiched turned out to be were the chanderler was hung from. It was really funy. Well I did tape it and I'll some day make a video montage of it so you guys can see it and I'll have screen captures from the movie too, of Jeff Roop.
not very much. Like they hardly showed any of him on the ice. But he does have some speaking parts and stuff. So yeah he's in lots, like the first 11 mins he never spoke. But i'll get the video montage up next week sometime.
Aww, Crystalyna, that would be wonderful! I'm curious (hence the new signature on my posts! *lol*) about the show but I have nothing I can send to you in return for the favour, hunny. Well, not until I get my video system working again at least.
Would you mind keeping hold of a copy until I can offer you a tape or something in return as thanks? 'Lissa
