Well, I've just started reading the book, "Covert One : The Hades Factor" and even though I'm only 27 pages into it, I'm already intrigued. Its cleverly written and already there are twists showing, people are not who they claim to be and so on. I haven't got any particular vested interests at the moment, but I've got a loooong way to read. There are 432 pages! Ludlum is an extremely indepth author, as my dad has also told me on occasion, so I'm expecting to get bogged down with detail as the story progresses. Can anyone hazard a guess why I started reading this one first?! *lol* 'Lissa.

Well, I'm getting nearer the end of the book (not quite finished yet, though) and I have to say, as involved as it is, its too close to somethig which an unscrupulous, money-hungry person might embark upon! If the miniseries which airs next Sunday (a week today!!) is half as good, it'll blow the viewers away! ;D Having said that, there are a couple of sections which appear to be either overlong or somewhat unnecessary, though I suspect some of the chatter might refer to events in other Covert One novels, keeping the fictional universe in harmony, if you will. I'll know more when I read the other two books, I'm sure! *lol* Well, back to reading!! 'Lissa.

I have to say, I'm HOOKED!! Robert Ludlum was a fantastic author! I'm darned near the end of the third Covert One novel and I love them!
I'm even thinking of moving on to read the "Bourne" novels (the first two have already been made into movies - "The Bourne Identity" and "The Bourne Supremacy" starring Matt Damon - thanks to my luvverly big sister for reminding me of the names of them! *lol*) straight from these. Has anyone read them yet? Any thoughts, reviews or recommendations on where to find the set all together?
But, I have a trilogy of Robin Hobb fantasy books (The Liveships Trilogy) borrowed from a friend to read first. 'Lissa.
