An absolutley wonderful film, a brilliant sequel to Underworld which I also enjoyed.
I was quite shocked at this film getting an 18 rating though as the original was a 15 which means they have lost half their audience with this film! Silly!

I haven't seen this yet. But its not on at the cinema anymore, is it? *sighs* I'll have to wait for the DVD to come out, I guess. I liked the first one, very entertaining. I don't know why but it seemed to be a film better suited to home viewing than one for the big screen (and I love going to the cinema, so I don't say that lightly). Just a personal opinion there. What's the basic plotline to "Underworld: Evolution"? Does it follow right along form the end of the first movie with the rise of the next master. Are there more Lycans? *eyes light up and a big grin spreads over her face* I lurve the lycans! 'Lissa

It's mainly to do with Marcus, the third Elder, who is now a hybrid. As Alexander Corvinus' son, Marcus is the first vampire and is now looking for his brother William, the first werewolf, so that they can create a new super race of hybrids, and of course Selene and Michael are trying to stop him. That makes it sound totally crap, but I promise you it isn't. It's actually rather more complicated than my rather pathetic summary and tells us a lot more about the history of the two races as well as more about Selene. According to Amazon the DVD comes out in June, I will definitely be buying it.

Velly interesting! More than enough the whet the appetite there! ;D Is there more gore (or something) which is why they upped the rating to 15, then? Because it sounds really good! Very inkeeping with the mythos of the original, too.
I'll keep an eye out for that on DVD, too, I reckon. ;D Thankyou for the plot outline, hunny! *bounces expectantly, awaiting the DVD release* 'Lissa.

I love this movie and I really hope that they make a unrated and extended cut of it.
