No problem, hunny....I'll can send some of all the VH cast members - well, images from the first four episodes, at least. I'll also send some random Joris pics - including a couple which Min sent me 'cause they're brilliant! 'Lissa.

Wooo-hooo! Stephen Dorff! The show starts on July 16 at 9pm on Sky One. I imagine there will be 2 or 3 repeats a week of each ep. Sky are good like that now.
Another mini-series starring Mira Sorvino! I just got through watching Human Trafficking, which she was also in. Just like getting to see Robert Carlyle each week on that show, it'll be nice to see Mr Dorff each week for a little while on this one.
July's edition is first time the monthly Sky magazine has really come in handy. Those 'detailed' daily summaries really aren't detailed enough!

Junes Sky mag came in handy last month for me, it gave us a heads up on the arrival of "The Hades Factor"! *lol* But yeah, on the whole its not really much cop.
Saying that, I reeeeeally hope my Sky Magazine arrives soon so I can read the interview....any mention of Joris? Or pics? *her eyes get big and wide, pleading* 'Lissa

No mention of Joris at all. The article consists of a picture of Steve, a run down of the 5 main cast members (Steve, Mira, Anjelica Huston, Sophia Myles and Danny Huston), a brief outline of the plot and some info on where the show was filmed. Basically it's pretty throw-away. We'll probably get more detail in the weekly TV guides for that week.
It might be worth checking out magazines like Dreamwatch or Cult TV in the UK to see if there's any info there. It kind of looks like Joris is playing one of those background kind of roles - one of the infected perhaps? - so we may not get any info on him or his character.

I just got the SKY magazine today...yeah, it is a pretty small, anti-climactic interview (the last mag made it look like it was going to be a MAJOR interview), though Stephen does look yummy, so there is a redeeming factor....No pun intended. I'm still going to post the transcript (in a couple of days time) though. The minieries sounds very interesting. *waits (im)patiently for the 16th July* 'Lissa.

I watched the first episode of four last night on Sky and....it was confusing at best! *lol*
Absolutely nothing like the book, The Hades Factor is espionage on speed!
I caught sight of Joris in the opening credits, dressed in Arabian-style desert robes and with a hefty growth of beard! He's not actually in the first episode, but as is the current trend, excerpts of the second ep are shown while the end credits roll and it looks like Stephen gives Joris an "interrogation" about something which was done to him....oooh, can't wait for Sunday!! *lol*
Screencaps are imminent (and I'll remeber to put up the other 'caps this time, too!) 'Lissa.

Aargh! Silly me! I forgot to do the interview transcript for this! Sorry, guys! If I hadn't re-read the topic, I still wouldn't have remembered. Hehe!
I'll try to get to that tonight, after posting some reviews of some Joris DVD's I received this week. We can but hope! Darn my bad memory, eh? 'Lissa.

Have you ever had the feeling you're not destined to have something on tape? The Hades Factor, episode one, has had three showings on Sky One and Sky Two over the past week, yet every single attempt I made to tape it has gone wrong. *sighs* At least I got to see it, though, so I can't complain too much. Ahh well, I have a bid on eBay for the DVD from America - it ends on 6 days time so lets hope I'm not that badly jinxed, eh? *lol* 'Lissa.

All of the Hades Factor has shown and Joris gets approximately 4 mins of screentime in 3 and a half hours. Woohoo! Hehe! Fancher (Joris' character) is likable, noble kinda guy in a bad situation. *lol* And, despite being essential to the plot (everybody and their aunt is trying to find him in the wilds of Afghanistan), we don't get to see much of him. Ahh well. But, all in all, the whole thing wasn't bad. I do have one major gripe, however. They should have made it a five parter instead of four - the last ep is rushed almost to the point of incoherence. There was no suspense built as in the previous three episodes - basically they needed the plot tying up as quickly as possible and they had to sacrifice many important details to do it. Five eps would have made it easier to make their discoveries more interesting. Who's the mole and how did they manage to do what they did? Was Smith infected or not after the climactic battle (if you've seen it, you'll know what I mean)? And the mysterious agent Griffin's involvement could have been elaborated upon. But, hey! At least Joris had a job! Its a shame there were no deleted scenes or outtakes on the DVD, but beggars cant be choosers, right? Am I whinging? I'm whinging, aren't I? I'll stop now! *lol* 'Lissa.

Ulp! I thought I'd posted them here! Oops! Its already been on. It showed on Sky One over four weeks and finished a couple of Sundays ago. I'm sorry. I can't believe I didn't post here, of all places! *laughs guiltily* I suspect it'll show again soon. The first three episodes were really good. Exciting and entertaining, steadily building to the finale and a little complicated at times, making you think carefully. But the fourth episode was a disappointment. Sure, it tied up a few of the loose ends, (and featured Joris! Yum!) but it seemed so rushed. It was bang, bang bang and done! By the time your brain had caught up, and began asking questions, the credits had finished. And, it also left many questions up in the air - possibly for a sequel, I'd say. The topic is a little too close to home, mind you, considering the political climate worldwide lately. One thing I can't fault, however, is the acting. Everyone played their part brilliantly, from Jon Smith's (Stephen Dorff) heart-wrenching grief to the sinister Hassan plotting his terrorist attacks. Though quite how agent Rachel Russell (Mira Sorvino) managed to pass basic CIA training is still beyond me. *lol* 'Lissa
