Where you ever addicted to a movie? Even when you were 5 years old, doesn't matter, did you ever love a movie so much that you would watch it once, then bring it back at the begining and watch it all over again? lol
I did that twice ^^ First with Practical Magic, and then with 10 things I hate about you. I watched those movies so often that in the end, I knew them by heart and I typed the whole script on my puter lol. And I would spend time with my friends, giving out roles and trying to play it cause we were planning on filming it lol. Which we never did cause in the end I was the only one interested by that idea XD But still when I watch those two movies, I can talk at the same time as the characters and say the right thing lol. Though in french cause I didn't know english back then rofl.
Anyway, am I the only one who's crazy enough to do that or could someone reassure me by saying they did it once too? Not the whole typing the script down and yada yada yada thing, but just the fact of watching a movie over and over again until the tape or dvd is hot cause its been played too often? lol

Oh yeah!! I did that a lot as a kid - I think "V" ranked highly, as did The Lost Boys eventually (I detect a trend, here. *lol*) - if fact, I still do it now, on occasion, when I'm heavily interested something or someone. *cough Joris cough Vampire High cough Foolproof cough* *lmao* So never fear, Marie hunny, you ain't alone - though its probably not all that reassuring to have me agreeing with ya! *lol* *The Twilight Zone theme plays in the background* 'Lissa.

*puts hand up*
I am the same, whether it be a TV show or a series of movies like Halloween once I watch one I have to get them all and watch them and talk about them to any one that will listen, the obsessions fades after about a month but I still love those Halloween filmes and such. The only addiction still going it Vampire High! Gotta love those vamps as MelissaKane would say!

*lmao* I'm being quoted! It means I'm famous, no? Heh! And I just thought of two more movies I used to watch over and over as a kid. 1) Police Academy - okay, I didn't always get the jokes in the movie, but there was more than enough jokes I did get to make me watch it over and over. Podium, Policeman & Prostitute? 'Nuff said! 2) Bill And Ted's Excellent Adventure - I loved this movie (still do, as a matter of fact) and I remember 90% of the script 'cause I watched it so much. In fact, I have the scrapbook I made all those years ago, full of interviews, pictures and things connected with Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter. I love it! And yuppers! VH goes on the rewatch list too! *lol* 'Lissa.

Heh! And I just thought of two more movies I used to watch over and over as a kid. 1) Police Academy . Hey, me too! I used to be able to quote that movie word for word. I also have a deep abiding love for Whip Hubley and watched the movie Russkies (also starring Joaquin ((then 'Leaf')) Phoenix) every morning before school for a couple of months. It used to get me through the day. I've watched Dracula the Series so many times, I can quote some episodes almost word for word - same inflection and everything. I think that may have actually affected the way I say phrases - like I'll use the same inflection if I'm using the same sentence. Kinda scary, right? I've got a few Shakespeare quotes out of it as well though. Unfortunately, they never come in handy. I wonder if I could still quote Police Academy now? ;D _____ Rhade! Rhade! Ra, ra, ra!

Welcome home, Rara!!! *lol & hugz*
Heh, I don't doubt you could still quote any of them, hunny! Hehe! Harris *a little shocked by seeing half the target blown apart by a rookie*: "Son, where did you get that gun?" Tackleberry *with a big grin*: "My mom gave it to me"
Hey, Marie! At least you know you're not alone! We're all fun loving and ever-so-slightly obsessional individuals here! YEAH!!!
*does a terrible version of the Chicken Dance hoping someone will join in who's better at it* 'Lissa.
