...how did everyone come across VH for the first time?? I remember I was throwing a sickie (lol ) as I couldn't be bothered going into work - I *hate* daytime TV so I was flicking around on the movie channels on sky when I found a show titled 'Vampire High'. I was intrigued, me loving all things vampirey, and as soon as I watched the episode that they were showing on Zone Horror - the episode where Drew enters Sherry's dream - I was hooked! I was well chuffed when I found out they were repeating the series from the beginning, lol!!

The first time I came across vampire high was on the sky movie channels. I notice that on horror channel now know as zone horror that they had a program called vampire high. I thought it would be interested. The first i tried to watch it had already finsh so i waited untill it was on again and watch it. I was hooked after that.

I think thats the same for the majority of the people on this board, I too came across this because of Zone Horror but I saw it listed on the website the day before the first run was on and thought I shall tape that and watch it when back from college, how happy that I did bother to tape it!

I actually saw the TV adverts for it the first time it ever came on TV, recorded it then missed taping a couple of eps and lost interest (I do that if I don't record a whole series right off I lose interest until it reshows) so only saw a bit and didn;t really get into it. But I did the same as many of you guys. I saw in on TV years later, on The Horror Channel - now Zone Horror - and this time got hooked properly thanks to a certain Joris Jarsky. Hehe! 'Lissa.

Being in America I never had the luxury of just catching it on TV. I watched Mutant X back when it was still on and after seeing a rerun of the episode with Adam McDonald (aka Nick) in it I thought I recognized him from something so I looked him up on IMDB. Happened to notice "Vampire High" in his filmography and though "that sounds cheesy." So I looked up more about it and found the former official site with the episode clips and everything and a yahoo group with transcripts of all the episodes and I was hooked before I ever actually saw the show. After a while I found somebody who could send me all the episodes burned onto DVDs. Yay!

Thats the mark of true class when a show can have a fan before they even see it. *lol* Awesome. And yeah, you're totally right. Zone Horror was a Godsend to us Brits. 'Lissa.

I was nine when the show was new on YTV, and I actually didn't like the series at first. '^^. I probably didn't really get into it until the end of the season, by which time it was too late. TT.

Saw it when it first came out on YTV, but I don't have cable or whatever, so I only caught it every now and again when I was at friends or what have you... recently my friend re-introduced me to it through youtube... and now I'm lusting after the last 11 episodes.

I'm kind of holding off on buying the dvds at the moment; probably will after Christmas, but I'd like to have more than the first ten episodes --- I vote box set of 'em all!
