hey all
Is anyone else excited about Blood: the last vampire coming out next friday (in the UK anyway). I have the original manga version and was totally entralled by it so I'm hoping the film isn't a big dissappointment!
I'd be interested what people think of it, if they have or are going to see it...

I heard of the anime version but never got to see it - and I've seen adverts for the film version which also looks cool. Could you tell us a little more about the plot, Demona m'dear? I'm not going to be able to go and see it, sadly - I'm a bit strapped for cash right now, but I'm sure I'll get to se it on DVD when it comes out. Are you going to see it at the cinema? 'Lissa

ok
so the manga version is a series (or so I believe - i only saw the one film) so I'm hoping the new film will clear up a few things for me. So what I know is that the vampire int he film, is the last vampire and that she is 'employed' by a US government unit to kill other demons. Apparently the sequel explains more but I have never seen it. I'm guessing as the manga version was only 50 mins this new film is the two parts together (?). I'd like to see it at the cinema - but my problem is dragging someone to see it - unfortunately not many of my friends are in to this stuff - at least not the ones I live near!
If I get to see it - i will post a short critique! dxx

Hmm, this film seems to have been mauled by all the critics (that means nothing of course, because the critics don't know what they're talking about half the time anyway). Did you get to have a chance to see the film yet, Demona? 'Lissa.

hiya
erm no i didn't get to see it - it was only on at my lcoal cinma for three weeks (it only has three screens bless and with all the summer blockbusters....) anyway I've not heard great things, but it will be on my list of DVD's to rent - now all i need to do is get round to becoming a member at the rental place! Horror films - perfect for the cold dark, lonely winter nights here in Scotland! xx
