omg I find myself randomly singing bits from the musical...lol! I love Buffy personally, I practically worship Joss Whedon and his team of amazing writers - though Angel is my preferred show if i'm totally honest. I was really sad when Tara died, but when Anya died in the last ep I was soooo devastated...poor Anya!! She was my favourite character from the later seasons I never really liked the whole Spike/Buffy thing (which is a shame really because I love the other Marti Noxon episodes...), I just thought it was a bad idea. Spike is an awesome character but after they put that chip in his head he was being written like a kicked puppy...which is so unfair. Spike/Dru was an amazing combination, and so was Buffy/Angel. I could go on...but I'll spare you all One character I really couldn't stand was Andrew and the worst 'big bad' of all was the Troika, they were rubbish! Glory and Evil Willow were my favies ;D Glory in particular was hilarious...

You know, I really wasn't feeling the whole Glory thing. When they introduced Dawn, I think I knew that the writing was going to get a bit silly and I think that's when I became less devoted. There was something about Buffy being and only child and having to deal with being a slayer as such. I also think it was too much of a shock to my system when Buffy was torn down so much reduced to working at a burger joint and looking so pityful. Tore my heart right up, it did.
But the musical was something. I definitely taped that;)

Dawn was a big, big problem. She really annoyed the hell out of me for...oh, lets say all the seasons she was in. Gaaah! That's why season 5 (I hope I got that right...lol) was a bit meh in general - I *adored* Glory, but I absolutely despised Dawn I felt that some episodes of season 5 descended into mediocrity because of the terrible balancing going on between these two characters but the majority of it was still great. The musical was totally fab, but ya can't beat classic Buffy - my favs were definitely season 2 (how hot was Angelus?!) and season 3 (the mayor was maybe not so hot...). After that I thought the show kinda took a trip down Mt Everest in comparison, but the later seasons were still way, way better than anything else on TV And my favourite episode? A really difficult choice between Doppelgangland (you've just gotta love 'fluffy' Willow trying to be all evil to fool the vamps, lmfao) and Becoming, Part 2. Both amazing episodes...

the thing about Buffy is that they had some amazing actors and writers, and im not talking about joss whedon, either. Sarah Michelle Gelar pulled that role off with amazing results. James Marsters obviously did an amazing job too. Seth Green is simply too geeky for me. I can't see why anyone would find him attractive. I think Id turn gay too if I had to kiss him.
