I can't wait to see this series! *lol* I'm assuming it must be set before the third movie since the third one released the Daystar Virus which killed off all the vampires. I guess we keep an eye out for release dates? 'Lissa

I think it is a really good series. The second episode was better than the plot. It is getting good rating over here in the states.

Brilliant! I suppose the pilot episode has to be a lil slower to get the viewer adjusted to the premise and all, eh? Will you be able to keep us posted on the series, please, Rockergirl? Cheers in advance, hunny!
And I have reliable information (ie From Scanjet! *lol*) that the series is due for UK screens shortly, sometime in the remainder of this summer Its been picked up by the channel Bravo. so we'll only be about half a season behind you guys! Yay! I'm looking forward to this! 'Lissa.

Good News Everyone!!! Read the article below!!!
"*Executives at Spike TV are still grinning hard after last week’s record-setting debut of “Blade: The Series,” starring former Onyx rapper Kirk “Sticky Fingaz” Jones in the title role.
Wednesday’s two-hour premiere at 10 p.m. brought in 2.5 million total viewers, which makes it the highest-rated original series premiere in Spike TV history. It was clearly the No. 1 show on cable for the night, scoring triple-digit ratings increases over the same timeslot last year in Spike’s target demo, men 18-34 (680,000 viewers) and men 18-49 (1.2 million viewers).
Co-written by the movie trilogy’s screenwriter David S. Goyer, the series picks up where the third film, “Blade: Trinity,” left off. The Marvel Entertainment superhero – half vampire, half human – is on the hunt for the “doctor” (a vampire) who feasted upon and killed his mother as he was being born. "

Hmm, sounds interesting. I feel like the original Blade movie was a tough act to follow - one that the subsequent movies didn't quite live up to, as good as they were.
I just had to check the cast - and Rhade himself, Steve Bacic, is guesting in episodes 4 and 5. Hurry up, Bravo!
Speaking of Blade though, isn't there going to be another movie - starring Ryan Reynolds and co. from Blade III, but without 'Blade' himself? _____
Rhade! Rhade! Ra, ra, ra!
