Apparently the new and final Harry Potter book could be out as early as Summer 2007, I really hope so, I am dying to find out how it will all end! I hope she don't kill anymore good characters off!

First off, *hold your ears* THANKYOU SCANJET!!! Books 'n' music! Yayy!! Hehe! Next, I hate the idea 'cause the character's been through too much and deserves a bit of happiness, but I'm certain she'll have to kill Harry off. He and Voldemort are inextricably linked so to kill Voldemort, Harry may have to die too. Then again, Harry's an obvious choice for the chop so she might not go there. I'm wondering whether the burgeoning romance between his best friends could mark one of them for a nasty end. *lol* It usually does in movies, right? The end of the sixth book was a shocker, wasn't it? *grinz* Yes, I admit it! I cried while reading the book. *nods* I wont say any more for anyone who hasn't read it. 'Lissa.

I'm worried that this book, in terms of character, is going to be a huge downer. After 6 books I'm kinda emotionally invested in the whole 'cast'. You know some of them aren't going to make it, and no matter who it is, it's going to be a bit sad (unless it's Dobby).
I hadn't thought of the killing off Harry theory (hoped for it, but that's hardly the same thing). I just can't see the lead character getting the chop. Then again, I imagine that if he lives, there'll be a fair amount of pressure to continue the story with Harry leaving school and getting a job. It could be a never-ending saga. Yes, kill off Harry and start on the Draco Malfoy series. "Draco Malfoy and the Attack of the Filthy Little Mudbloods". I'll get me wallet, it's a winner! But on the other hand, who wants to see the hero of 6 books get killed at the end of the final book? It'd be comparable to the horrible disappointment of Twelve Monkeys or Turner & Hooch.
As long as Snape makes it out alive, I'll be happy. ((pause to consider)) I'm a bit worried that I'm not going to be very happy at the end of the book!
And kinda like a slightly late Anti-Christ, I read a rumour that the release date will be 07/07/07.

*LMAO* A numerically dyslexic antichrist at that, eh?! Hmm...The thing about Harry getting killed is just a rumour I heard back when the fifth book, The Order Of The Phoenix, was released and Joanne (J.K. Rowling) said she was tired and didn't want to have the pressure of writing any more Harry Potters. It could just be some reporters speculation, eh? I like Snape, too. 'Specially the movie version, but I'm an Alan Rickman fan so therein lies the tale. In the books, I still have the feeling Snape isn't showing all his cards. Yeah, he proved himself a villain in the sixth book, a nasty piece of conniving there, but I'm not so sure he's not still working for the Order.....the killing he made was necessary for his return to Lord Voldemort's service. None of the Order actually commented on Snape's betrayal at the funeral and whatnot, did they? Could have been grief or it could have been an unplanned sacrifice. I agree, though. Its likely to be a bit depressing the last one. So many tragic events have to be resolved, but I reckon there will have to be more deaths. So long as the Weasleys aren't harmed, I'm happy. They're such a cool family! *lol**sighs* Darn, and we still have a year or so to wait and find out! Wonder if she'll let Voldemort win?! That'd be a shocker! *lol* 'Lissa.

I think Snape is gonna die lol. JKR said that, for now, 2 characters were dead in the book, though she didn't say who... I was convinced she was going to kill Harry too, but in a interview she gave in NY, when she answered to a question (which was who would you like to eat dinner with?) she said the trio because she'd like to meet the survivors, and then she realized her mistakes and changed her answer to Dumbledore and Hagrid, so I think Harry, Ron and Hermione are gonna make it out alive.
And if she kills Remus or Tonks... *clings to them* I'm gonna throw my book in the fire and go buy another one the next day lol.
Last news we had from her she had written about 750 pages lol. I so can't wait ^^

*lol* Ohhhh, Joanne may have slipped up? Bless! So we suspect the trio are safe. What about Malfoy? Junior or senior? Wonder if either of them are for the chop? Hehe! Beter not say that too loudly - I think there might be a couple of Malfoy fans lurking hereabouts. *lmao* I'd have dinner with Hagrid (we share the same odd love for some of the ugliest of nature's beasts - besides, we both desperately want pet dragons! ), but I'd be keeping my hands well away from his fork if his giantess ladyfriend (who I've gone blank on the name of, Madame something) walked in. *lmao* 'Lissa.

lol a pet dragon... now that would make life interesting.
I don't think Draco will die... Lucius might but who knows lol. And personnally... I wouldn't care if Harry died *ducks heavy objects that are being thrown at her* lol he kind of annoys me since the 5th book...

Nooooo, no no no, please not Remus! Hope not *snatches the lovely werewolf away and sticks him under her bed to keep him safe! Haha! Voldemort'll never find him there - we'll have to share protection duties though, Marie!! *lol* Seriously though, I'm hoping that they don't kill off another member of "Messrs Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs" - Sirius was another of my fave characters. And I'd hope none of the Weasley's are marked, either. I love the lot of 'em - 'cept maybe Percy. *lol* Hmm, I vaguely remember Hagrid being put forward for the mantle of "marked for death" by the rumour mill just before "... Order Of The Phoenix" came out. Hmm, wonder if Wormtail is one of the "chosen ones".... his treachery and cowardice don't deserve to go unpunished, do they? *laughs wickedly* 'Lissa.
